people thought i liked you.

that this girl you never knew
was in love with you

i had to write the letter
,the secret letter,
declaring my "love" for you

you took awhile to decide
would you like me or would i be just another ride?

i was hoping you'd say No
just so it'd be over
but you said yes.

i got to know you
and we had a lot in common
i don't know what happened
you went from
'stranger' to 'best friend'

but then it happened
on Valentines day nonetheless
you "noticed her again"
eventually you left me

but now I'm doing better.

but also aren't with me.
