Sunrise in Africa

by ღCrystalღJaysBabeღ   Sep 7, 2006

The sun so hot and firey red,
Coming up over the horizon,
The pink, purple and amber in the sky,
Dusty winds blow across the sun.

Soft sands on the ground,
Trees blowing and swaying,
In the the gentle morning wind,
The wonderful creatures are awaking.

The sun rises closer and closer,
To the baby blue sky,
The soft fluffy white clouds are near,
And still the warm sun does not hide.

Its hotter and hotter every minute,
The sun gets bigger and bigger,
The creatures are running across,
The warm dirt and sand sweeping under their feet.

The sun is finally raised,
And only the red, amber and blue show,
Clouds have now faded from the heat,
The sun is showing warm and friendly for all the world to see.
