Emotions of the Mistake

by Levi   Sep 8, 2006

A confusion of what's real and what's not...
I don't know how but I gotta stop.
This determination of me. Insane,
O God save me from the pain.
Don't know why it quickly began,
Or why I even tried to make a stand.
It's all gone in flash of light,
But I'm sure it's not the end of the fight.

Coming back, the emotion so real,
Internal beckoning... breaking the seal.
The light is devouring it all,
And soon the darkness will fall.
The emptiness that was inside has gone,
And for the first time I am no longer torn.

The caressing feel of love and hate,
The things that originally caused my mistake.
This time I know which way to go,
Yet I can still feel the undertow.
I still push on until the end,
I'll definitely make it around this bend.
