Nobody

by AynJal   Sep 9, 2006

There must be something about you
There must be something in the way I feel
In the way you do the things you do
The way my heart beats when I'm close to you
Can I trust the spaces
Inbetween
Aren't really what they seem
Cause I took a kiss, I took an emotion I missed
But I never meant to let go of it
I could never change the way I feel
The facts are there, I can't deny them
Can't lie to my heart again
My mouth never felt the need to speak
And look at what you're doing to me
The sweetest moment, I got from you
The things I said to you
Were and always will be, true
My face could never show
What is not real
My eyes could never hide
And I could have lied
And I could have said something more
Should I have unlocked the door?
To my heart, but I'm so torn
Between two rotating worlds
I showed you
And I told you
How he struck me
How it feels to be
Told something
No one else believed
And you're eyes greived
I see the helplessness
But don't worry
The only way I made it through
Was being next to you
And hearing words that I could understand
You kept warm my freezing hands
And I won't forget
And you won't be left behind
My heart couldn't let
These feelings intertwine
With the ones that I intend to hide

So I won't wait
And I won't let it go
I'll always be here, my fate
Holding onto false hope
