She has lost da twinkle in her eye from wen she once had him,
n u can see da brightness in her smile beginning to dim.
She'd been hurt so many times, u'd think she'd be aware,
but she was once again gullible and thot he truely did care.
These r sumtings this poor grl never seems to learn,
its lyk da guys rip out her heart and watch it burn.
But see she never shows her pain, even wen shes hurtin most,
n she doesnt lyk to cry eitha,even tho shes come very close.
Things dont seem to be gettin any easier lyk ppl always say,
but dis very strong grl still pretends to be ok.
She cant trust people as easily as she used to,
n da second she starts to smile,things always seem to fall through.
So is dis poor grl ever goin to be happy for more den a blink of n eye,
i mean sumwhere out thurr deres gotta be da rite guy.
So until he comes n shows her dat shes all he ever dreamed of,
she won't believe in nethin as foolish as wat dey call "true love".
Wen u think bout it, wat is true love neways,
all it really leads to is sadness and sum cold dark days.
Im sure its errthin u can ever dream of wen u find it,
but if i dont find it soon, ima get too tired of lookin n have to quit.
Cuz see now im havin more problems wit dis otha boy,
n it scares me to think hes jus playin wit me...lyk a dam toy.
N i cant go thru all dese lil games nemore cuz i need sumfin real,
but da one dat i love rite now, dont realize exactly how i feel.
Maybe he will notice sumtime soon, maybe not,
bcuz i can tell u rite now i love n care 4dis boy alot.
If he dont realize den i guess i gotta move on,
but knowin my luck, i will find anotha guy n den he 2will be gone.
