A Fight on the Path of Destiny

by Levi   Sep 11, 2006

Trudging his way through the wind and rain,
He limps slowly due to searing pain.
Grasping his weapon; he gets ready to fight,
Filled with the Gods courage and light.
An enemy sprints toward him yelling so loud,
The rain continues to fall from the darkened clouds.
Sparks fly as their weapons meet,
The enemy is skilled; quick on his feet.

The fight lasts about a minute or so,
And then finally the mortal blow.
The enemy takes one look and falls to the ground,
He is beaten and utters his final sound.
The Hero stands over his fallen foe,
Sheathing his weapon; he turns and goes.
His blade stained with yet one more,
His pain has increased but it must be ignored.
