Our eyes

by Randomness   Sep 12, 2006

Looking in each others eyes
He said i didn't have to smile
My eyes were smiling for me

I didn't have to say a word
My eyes were saying it for me
The only thing between us
Was our Hands embraced with one another

Nothing seemed to tear us apart
As we stood there
Just looking in each others eyes

His eyes had told me
He loved me to much to ever let me go
My eyes just smiled at that

No word was spoken between us
As it changed
From day to dusk

No trucks roaring engines
No children hollering
Not even the Fed-ex guy
Broke us apart

The couple in the next house over
Yelling at each other
Just made us both happy
That we will never go through that

I guess if you truly care about someone
That little sparkle will appear in your eye

The sparkle tells all
Not one word will ever be spoken
No bottles will break
No shouts will be heard for a million miles away.

Our loving bond will carry us to the end of the earth
With one another.
