PICTURES DO YOU NO JUSTICE

by Britton Bass   Sep 13, 2006

Pictures do you no justice
for your face doesn't shine as bright
and i can not catch that glisten
of the moon in your eyes at night
your lips they are just paper
but in life there plush and frail
and i cam mot touch your beautiful skin
so soft and warm and pale
now don't misunderstand me
I'm glad i have you there
but it cannot say i love you too
or kiss and hold me near
so every chance i get
I'm going to hold your hand
because it makes me feel more loved
than this plastic stand
