Lachrymose

by schmaltziness   Sep 15, 2006

Stab me where my heart is,
And let the pain succumb me.
Whispers of the dead calling name,
Beckoning me to where they are.

My heart is bleeding,
Even without you piercing it.
I might as well just disappear,
Knowing that I am so insignificant.

Throw me into the vast ocean,
And leave me drowning.
Tie my hand up in chains,
And leave me to decay.

Lower me into the weeping earth,
Don't bother shedding your tears.
The tears you shed,
Are those of a hypocrite.

You led me into deception,
Poisoning me with your charms.
You have successfully killed me,
Without even moving a single muscle.
