Solitude

by William Hulley   Sep 16, 2006

Solitude

Now I live a life of inhumane pain
Knowing that, that which I lost
I may never again regain.

I miss you

Now that I have lost you, I realize your all that I want
In my dreams you are the prey which I can never catch but always continue to hunt
I wish I never said those things I said
I wish that I never invited you into my head.
SO many things I now regret

I still miss you

Even though I want to hate you for what you did
I will never be able to, not even if I tried with all my wit.
Night and day, day and night you are always on my mind
True love is the one thing I thought I would never find
But I was found then left behind.

I will always miss you.
