the window

watching the snow fall

the fire burning

The Christmas lights

shining brightly.

Your sitting next to me

I rest my head

on your shoulder

and start to

drift off to

my own peace of mind

you kiss my forehead

and i look up and smile.

Life seems so

perfect now

all i feel is

an overwhelming

sense of joy

i fell asleep

in your arms

and you stayed

for awhile

you went to

leave and i woke up

you looked into

my soul and said

it's late i have to go

but ill be back

in the morning

before you wake.

Christmas morning

came and i woke

up to your face

thats when i

realized your the
