We met in art class
I\'ll never forget the day
You were the new girl in school
We were shy and didnt know what to say

We finally broke the silence
And began to talk more and more
Telling eachother stories
Or just walking up to the store

We started hanging out
It was an everyday affair
Playing Basketball or shopping
We really didnt care

Then my feelings started to change
I didnt like her as just a friend
I wanted her as my girl

I built up some courage
To ask this girl out
My stomach was turning
As the answer came about

It was now official
She was all mine
No one could take her

We had our first obstacle
Because she was moving away from me
The distance didnt break us
It was obviously meant to be

Then high school hit
And the rumors began to fly
That didnt stop our relationship
I knew i was her only guy

Jobs and sports took up some space
So there was no time for me and her
We barely talked on the phone anymore
Our vision of us together began to blurr

We realized that we were busy
And we had to make a change
We barely see or talked to eachother
It made things a little strange

We now have two different agendas
And so many things to do
But one thing I\'ll never forget
