So Much Pain

by HB   Sep 20, 2006

The man I love loves to see me cry
He taunts me with water as i die of thirst
He enjoys the fire as i freeze in the cold
He coldly watches as I beg for love.
I travelled the world to forget about him.
I went to New York, yet the biting cold reminded me of his kisses.
I went to Lebanon,
yet the majestic cedars reminded me of his pride,
I went to Africa, but the beauty of its lands reminded me of the ugliness of my truth.
For I am in love with a dictator.
I am in love with a king.
I am in love with an unnatainable treasure.
I am in love...and love hurts so much
