When she looks out the window,
she pictures the perfect man to rescue her.
She dreams of fairy tales,
elaborate castles and knights in shining armors.
Each dream is different, but plot is the same.
She feels so lonely even though she has friends.
She's the popular girl who everyone knows
She plays sports and ranked #1,
but how come she isn't happy?
She has is all or so it seems
What she wants is a boy,
A guy to sweep her off her feet,
To give color to her world,
And take her away and keep her to himself.
No one knows that, she's afraid of her emotions.
Too bad because there's a boy who feels the same.
They will never meet and never know.
Onto college and do what's right,
professional, 2 kids and perfect house.
Never knowing what would've happened,
But all the while regretting what could have been.
