Secret Love

Sitting in class
Staring at your face
I wonder if you love me
And not in the friendly way.

But I kept my love a secret
From everyone I know
I wish that I could tell you
But you might up and run.

So at night I lay in bed
And think of how it would be
To go to school and look at you
And beable to tell you how I feel.

I think of you when I first drift off
And think of you when I awake
I think about you when I'm lonely
And laugh at me silly thoughts

So I keep my love for you a secret
No one will ever know
That you were my first love
But I hope it never shows.
