What Happened?

I was willing to do anything,
I wanted us to last forever.
What happened?
What happened to the spark?

You promised you would never leave me.
You promised me forever.
You told me that nothing could change us.
What happened?
What happened to those dreams?

Was it a waste of time?
Was it just a phase?
Were we living a lie?
Or did we just lose faith?

We don't talk anymore.
We don't even acknowledge one another.
What happened?
What happened to our "perfect world"?

    Very good job on this poem..the reason i say this is because i went through exactaly what this person went throught..and just remember (dont make someone your everything, cause when they leave you, you have nothing)
