Years

Through the years
iv watched them
come and go
and that temporary glow

watching from afar
iv watched a star
it grow
and develop that shining glow

will the love survive?
am i still the apple of her eye?
for into her heart i will dive
and hold her high in to the sky

although i watch her love
so many of the others
i still stand with arms
eternally open for her!
