When I was a little girl
I painted a picture of my life
And sent it to the stars
With a wish attached:
"Please let me be found"

From heaven
You landed on the park bench
Beneath my balcony
There you sat, waiting for me

Two and a half months later
I've painted another picture
And sent it to the stars
With a note attached:
"I think I've been found"

As a girl I searched for you
As a woman I found you
At exactly the right place and time
And it was perfect
