Midnight, Half Past

by Alex Beebe   Sep 26, 2006

Did you ever think when you’re alone,
That somewhere outside of the light,
Was a dying home.
Where all he sees is blood and steel,
And disturbing memories that never heal.
No one sees what goes on inside,
But he knows, who within resides,
During the night,
When all is black,
the devil comes.
at midnight, half past,
The night is quiet ,
But the boy knows,
That there is no sleep
for the angels foes,
The boy is crying,
The damage is done,
But he has managed,
To last through another one,
And in his mind,
He plots his revenge,
and tommorow,
at midnight,half past,
There will be no boy,
for blows to cast.
And now he can sleep,
In Peace.

Come on, you can't just do that! I want to read the rest of it. It's really good. I'd love to see where you take this.
