Journey in Sin

by Levi   Sep 27, 2006

Looking into nothing but the blackness of my heart,
I can't even remember why this journey had to start.
Trekking the lands, a thousand miles and more,
My body is weary and my feet and arms are sore.
Life's hanging onto a ledge with one hand tied behind it's back,
I don't know how but I've got to make my own track.

Wasting away, trying not to give into the demon's that pull me down,
I wish push on until I can safely put my feet back on the ground.
My soul is growing weak; I believe that I will soon admit defeat,
I don't want to give in but I just can't handle the pain of being incomplete.

Don't wanna give in,
Don't wanna give in,
But this path is completely covered in sin.
O God save me, answer my crying tears,
Please don't let me be devoured by all my fears.
