An Angel's Influence (Redone)

by AshLetitia   Sep 30, 2006

I have redone this poem using new sentences and mixing some of the sentences from the previous poem into it. Waste not, want not. Enjoy.

Senseless apologies whisper noiselessly,
The Angel smiles, hiding her disenchantment,
Frightening emotions, churning deeply,
Waiting, until that tranquil moment has slipped away.

Should eternity stretch so far?
So distantly into the unknown?
The angel may shine blindingly,
So others shield their eyes,
Crying out for adulation.
Must confusion be so turbulent?
Thought, in all it's Glory and Wonder.

An angel so pure of personality,
So good of will, of heart,
Such an icon of artistry,
Like Autumn leaves drifting,
Entrancingly toward the earth.
Like flowers drugging Nature,
With such a bewitching redolence.

Apology is found wanting,
Seemingly inadequate.
Misdeed is heart-rending, lamentable,
Causing the Angel adversity, perplexity,
Pending my own despondency,
One can only repent from such mischief.
I apologise.

An Angel influencing our young,
Introducing the art of Music,
Into their rustic lives,
Where once was shadows, hope now shines,
Where once there was no future, one can now be found,
All because of this Angel's nobility, her enlightenment.
