Sayoko Grove

Sayoko Grove

I took a walk by Sayoko Grove
So abundant and full of life
An orchard laced with precious blooms
Completely void of strife

I then took a stroll in Sayoko Grove
And embraced it through and through
It held the hope of a greener world
True beauty seen by few

Now the gates weren\'t always open
Or the bloom always so full
But the gift I gained, I cannot explain
From the peace of just one view

Time has nurtured such an array
my eyes would not believe
For the Joy it brought to me that day
and all the distance I can see

With all I know and all I feel
and all that\'s meant to be
Sayoko Grove has touched my heart
and every thought in me

I want to move like a shooting star
Through this wonderous land
to be guided by my heart
and held in God\'s great hand

In my walk, I begin to see
there\'s more than meets the eye
So I slow my pace and forget the race
or even question why

With so much to see and so far to go
...To not wanting to miss a thing
I surrendered myself to the wonderous call
of hearing her wilderness sing

So many miracles in this place
that move so much of me
I\'ve never felt more peace or grace
in such great harmony

I discovered a place that God has made
a fulfullment hardly known
To feel the heart and warm embrace
where passion has been grown

The simple bird in this open field
must surely knows its call
For it cannot see just one tree
but the majesty of them all

There\'s cheer in all that I can see
with what I can\'t, I trust will be
With what I can, I\'ll tend it so,
all it does is grow and grow

I know my feet were led by fate
to warm shelter in a cove
I\'ve found a place of loves release
my haven, Sayoko Grove
