Shootign stars

by Rin   Oct 4, 2006

I look up from a long night with my horn and as my director tells us other information about the week

When i am taking the deep breathe i need to drop my heart rate and cleanse my body of its fatigue

There is a quick brief streak of like that a shooting star brings

You smile at me and ask me if I saw it

I am so glad that we had that brief second to see the lifting spirit of the star that gives the strength

To hear my drum major say our dismissal and we walk to our car
