Butterfly

by Lenny   Oct 4, 2006

Weak wings unfold,
In gentle tremble,
And tiny eyes blink
To toasted morn,
Creaking whispers,
Disclose the shadows,
And amber rays
Behold first sight,
Stretch the infant
To sensation,
And taste the life
Soon to belong,
Tender child, at last
Awakens,
And tears kneel down
To melting hearts. . .
