3 words ..... i love you

I remember looking at you from the sidelines,
watching you be happy with her,
smiling and kissing her just making me look,being filled with rage on how that could have been me...
Everytime i saw you and her i felt my heart tear.
I guess the only emotions i had then were sadness
love, lust and jealousy
all for you i would have been
i only wanted to give you my love
the feelings i had for you just made my heart and brain go in to madness.
That day i could never forget
the day you went out with her,
tears in my eyes the first time i saw you kiss her,
how i had to go somewhere and recollect....
pick up my emotions one by one hide them keep them locked up.
Smile in fake when i was with you and our friends then cry in my room alone,
i knew from the instant you said hi to me you were the one i had been waiting for,
if i only could have done this before you and her were together
picked up the phone...
dialed your number waited in eager anticipation of hearing your voice,
then when you finally answered tell you 3 words
i love you.....
Maybe things would be different now i would be the one in your sweet embrace,
kiss your lips upon your handsome face,
love you more than you could ever know,
and how i would know cupid finally hit us with that love heart bow.
Waiting around for you....
knowing you liked me and not doing anything i should have just finaly taken my cue,
Made my move say those three words......
A silly mistake i have made,
all i can say for now is look cupid i have paid!
