My Midnight Prayer

* I know its long but I got caught up in the moment and if you read it I know you'll like it*

Every night before I close my eyes to go to sleep I think of the times we spent together, and how many time you kissed me good night and said we will be together forever Every morning you would do the same thing and I would always smile at least for that little while. Then I would realize that forever can't be because someday you are going to leave me, whether it is tomorrow or a year from now it doesn't change a thing because I knew that my eyes would always sting. So many tears I have cried over memories and what used-to-be's. I can't help thinking that this happiness we share will some day end, and you will no longer be my best friend. So every night at 12.00 I get out of bed and pray to god for you to have immortality, and if he does this for me then I'll make everyone believe. That there is a way to be forever happy, as long as my love will stay with me. When you sleep at night in my bed I watch you and stroke you hair, and think that loosing you would be so unfair. It would be too cruel for god to take you away from me so I'll pray ever day that you will never leave and it's up to god to let it be. In between night and day is the only way I know god can hear what I say.Please let him hear my midnight prayer and let me keep what I have found that's so rare. I can't stand to loose you for then I will loose myself too. Give me your heart and I will hold it close to mine and they will never be a part. You are better then light better then dark better then running in the rain in the park. You are all I will ever want and if you leave in my dreams you will haunt. I will not be able to live my life without you in it; a life without you does not seem fit. You are perfection do you see it in your reflection. Do you see it too? See the halo above your head and the wings in your back, god sent you to me to help me with what I lack. Don't let God take you away from me because here is where you're meant to be. You may not see all the good you do but I wouldn't be here without you. Every prayer I make it seems as if I get stronger inside, and I don't have any feelings to hide. I believe god will not take you away from me if I am good to him and to you. So I will do everything in my power to make sure I do. You are my partner, lover, and my night in shinning armor. You are not afraid to show me the way you feel and sometimes life is rough but you know I will heal. With you on my side the whole way I know where I'm going to stay. God hear my midnight prayer and listen to my heart, it's been beating strong from the very start. It's all because of the Angel you have sent me, you have set me free. So please God I'll ask one more time please do not take him away from me.
