I really like the meaning of this one. But I think you could add on to the end. I love the first half most of all!!! Its great, i kinda wish i thought of a rose first. lol thanks for commenting by the way

The idea was good, you put it out well, a few spelling and grammar mistakes, but a little fix up, and you have a decent poem.

Sorry, but I disagree entirely with the symbolism of the rose here. In Britain the rose has an entirely different sybology, and the poppy is the epitome of remembrance. FDor me, the romanticism is lost in the choice of words, which is regrettable as the depth of meaning behind them is to be commended.

I agree with Ed Henderson about the symbolism of a rose which you speak about in your poem. However, the poetry itself here was very, very good. I live how vivid the images explained seemed to be. I really enjoyed reading.
