Darkness

The darkness envelops me
it takes me some were
no one will ever think of
finding me

the darkness tries to
find out my darkest
most innermost secrets
but i don't give it up

it tempts me with
the things i love
the most in life still
i hold on with all that
i have

but finally it tempts me with
what i love the most
