Harder Everyday

I wish there was another way to get through,
my mind just keeps wandering back to you,
i find it hard to stay in touch with my emotions,
need some help to work through the notions,
simple heartfelt words you say get twisted in my head,
starting to jump to things which were never even said,
i just need some time to think things over,
but as the minutes tick by i am scared,
that when i have found the words to say,
you wont be here for me anymore,
so scared to make mistakes,
have to be sure.

it would kill me inside and tear me apart,
to see you as deep in love, how we once were,
the nurturing feeling having someone there,
to turn to and talk to knowing they will actually care,
if i lose you what would i do?
whatever happens i just need to be able to talk to you.

every secret i have ever had lies in you,
wondering if things go wrong,
those secrets will come through,
you will always make up a big part of my heart,
and im hoping you dont just forget what we had,
even though i put you through some things you didnt deserve,
i want you to remember the good times we had,
because you were always true to me and never let me down,
you were my first love and true love,
