Need To Say Goodbye

Her heart soon filled with sadness,
as she left him in the rain,
chocking on his many tears,
and whispering her name.

it was hard for her to do this,
for she loved him very much,
but she couldn't live alone,
for the few moments of there love.

she'd given him many chances,
all of which he had ignored,
she wanted something better,
but her heart called for him for sure.

she knew she had to leave,
but it hurt to say goodbye,
she couldn't show her breaking heart,
or this would kill her for sure.

the first few weeks were difficult,
chocking on her tears,
sometimes difficult to even breathe,
she felt she loved him more than before.

but she deprived herself of him,
and eventually let go,
she prayed he'd do the same,
so they both could be happy once more.

    I liked it alot!! it flows really well except for this one part
    "she knew she had to leave,
    but it hurt to say goodbye,
    she couldn't show her breaking heart,
    or this would kill her for sure."

    kinda messes the flow but otherwise i lvoe it!! i gave it a 5..hope you return the favor

    I can totally relate to this poem. After a time you cannot cope with a certain situation cause it doesn' make sence.
    you have done a wonderful job. I rate you 5/5 keep up writing
