The letter

I wrote a letter today knowing
I wouldn't receive a reply, not knowing who would receive it, man or women young or old.
I wrote a letter today to a faceless someone whom will have an everlasting effect on my live without ever knowing or seeing me.
I wrote a letter today to a soldier.
I hope my words give that soldier a taste of home and brings a smile to that face.
