Growing Nightmare

by Little Sin   Oct 15, 2006

Lay in the world that lies,
behind my eyes.
Black flowers of broken dreams,
I sleep.
The bleak wind cracks the pale,
dead skin wrapped around my bones.
The eerie voices haunt the,
the clouded crisp sky.
Acid rain and slashing thunder,
cease to end.

Ebony fires start, unknown and burn the colored flowers left.
Rainbow peddles fly, and crumble to ashes.
All is me but the screaming corpse from the graves, enslaved and chained till their decaying bodies rot into the ground.

The tears that are shed, never pure but fade to darkened blood which forever fall from the height of the crumbling cliff.

I mourn alone in my world, slowly vanishing till nothings left.
All I have is the inner torment, devouring my limbs.
All there is, is nothing but the echoed sheiks lingering my opened wounds.

What lied behind my eyes but a world of nonexistent life that leaves your skull,
to rip from your skin leaving it to drench in tainted blood.
And the bodies left to be shattered by the gloom, lost souls.

All that remains in unverified blood,
sinking in the damned earth below. This is my growing nightmare.
