The Thimble

by Julia   Oct 16, 2006

The Thimble
Wrapped around in silk
Or light
Or woven love
A thimble
Is a beautiful thing.
I’m certain that my love for you
In all it’s unraveling adoration
Could be wrapped around a tiny spool
Then you could keep it in your pocket
Or tie some of it around your finger
To remind you that I love you
And I do
Yes
Thimbles are beautiful things
Thimbles are tiny symbols
Of love!
