Heartbreak Hotel

by AngelaRose   Oct 17, 2006

If you're ever at
the Corner of
Dumped St. and Loveless Ave.,
Look me up
I'll be the one
Running the Heartbreak Hotel
where all the Loveless Losers
can Rest their Weary Wings
After being
Dumped,
Led on,
or even Let Down
by Countless Others

My Job as the Hotel Manager came along
on the Day that I gave up on Love...
or Rather...
Love left me Behind
Wanting Everything
and
Having Nothing

So with a
Very Heavy Heart
i opened the Heartbreak Hotel
where All the Ones
that Love Left Behind
can Leave their Weary & Tired Souls
at the Door
and Cry themselves to
Sleep at Night
on Heart-Shaped Pillows
Just like I've done...
Because a Heart is Very Hard to Mend
and can only Take
So Much Disappointment
before Giving Up,
Giving In,
and Shattering Completely--
Breaking Down all of its
Owner's
Hopes & Dreams
and Taking Its Owner with It

I like the orignality and terminology. the sylables could match more so It could flow better, just trying to be helpful, but other than that it's very good (I don't say that often)
