I really liked this poem. It was so sweet and heart touching, but I didn't get this line.

When you wore the love you felt upon you dirty sleeves

what were you trying to say? Just wanted to know so I could get the whole poem! Good job! Jpoet*

    Jpoet,

My son could go outside and within 10 minutes be covered in dirt. And his sleeves were the worst.

He was the ultimate dirt magnat, even sitting on the porch swing not doing anything. It would find him, and attach itself faaster than bees to honey.

That's what I meant. Sorry to those who don't know my son.

    Happiness

Such a beautiful dedication to your son Jeannie. My lips just flowed through this poem of beauty.
You amaze me with your incredible talent to reach into the mind and heart of the reader and pull them right into your poetry. Making me feel the emotions and the imagery created with this piece speaks in loud colors of love !
Wonderfully penned from the heart of an amazing poet and mother.
    Much love, your friend Luanne
