Forever Waiting

by Dante   Oct 19, 2006

A wish that seems to never become truth,
taunting for you to wait your entire youth...

Bribing with temptation with every clock,
boasting with keys that control the locks...

Wondering, waiting, thinking, on its gains,
curious on how many hearts it may have slain...

Trusting with last drops of hope and faith,
making decisions not knowing whether it'll give or take...

Walking a path that has erased knowledge of,
yet, like with own minds, journey to see what beholds...

Step by step, you're my path, I'm forever pacing,
a distance of forever, forces me to be forever waiting....
