As long as it may last

by More Than Words   Oct 21, 2006

Sitting here next to you
is something I never thought I'd do.
knowing for sure that it wouldn't last,
It seems as if I am living a fairytale,
I felt as if you would only bail.
But as I turn and look at you.
I realize that you finally see it to.
Everytime I am with you i can't help but smile
just knowing that I'll
be with you as long as it may last.
As I sit here and look at you my heart starts beating fast.
My mind begins to soar,
as I relive everything we hae been though
and try to draw up a clue
as to how or why now.
All I can think of is wow.
It's finally happening.
Your finally here.
I try to clear
the past away
and as it turns to grey
I can't help but smile
just knowing that I'll
be with you as long as it may last
