True Love.

by Vonnie McHugh   Oct 22, 2006

Looking out the window today,
Wishing you could hear all that I say,
The distance between us is miles and miles,
Sitting here now I imagine your smile.

I think back to the bright sunny days,
Sitting on the beach wishing this was for always,
Now the Autumn has begun,
No more can we sit out in the Sun.

I look at the leaves fall down from the trees,
They fall off with the greatest of ease,
I know we will see each other real soon,
Maybe Darling we can sit under the Moon.

True love can be conquered with a fight,
Just knowing in the end all will be right,
Distance is a number I reckon.
But love as strong as ours has been proven
