This was an excellent poem, it's beautifully written and gets a great message across.. Well done 5/5 xx

Without hope and faith of some sort life would be pointless.. I have hope and faith in tomorrow, it never arrives but there's always the hope it will be better ;]

    Well done once again xx

I would maybe switch the second and last stanzas as I feel the first is the strongest and would leave more finite feeling at the end.

To the peace beyond our understanding

I would change this to a peace or that peace just for a slightly more abstract and comfortable feel.

    OK, technicalities done!

Hey Michael, it's been a long time since I've been here... like I dusted off a book I forgot I enjoyed this much.

This poem to me is universal. Not so much about your personal background, but more a commentary on how hope is reflected within faith in general. I like how that feels and how it can be interpreted from more than one point of view.

I'm wondering, having not perused your newer poems if this is one of a linked trilogy. Would faith be next?

    Pleasant days, my friend,

Wonderful job. Your poems are always so perfect; they make me speechless. Sometimes I think I shouldn't comment cause there isn't anything wrong. Keep It up, I'll rate your other poems.
