And yet I fail.

by Hannah Emellia   Oct 22, 2006

Oh yearning heart, wither in thy black dispair!
Forever drowning in the shattered glass that is thy broken soul,
Seek thou not redemption; for you're sinking in your sins,
And let the singing of the fire- torment you within.

Forgivness is divine- yet seems not to be my thing,
Now steel thy heart, and sharpen thy blade,
For shall thou win victory? or simply this spade?

The battle is raging; yet no one can see, for this battle is ours... just for you and me.
