The twin portals of your soul
Gaze at me so intently.
I look up into the blue sky
When I look into your eyes.

What do you see when you look
Into the forest of my soul?
The green forest is peaceful when it can see the blue sky
But rages with ghosts of memories and embarrassments
When your peaceful sky leaves.

The clarity, the sunshine you provide for me
To strengthen my roots
To help my branches reach up to you in jubilation
Helps me grow into something beautiful
But does the sky actually know all it does?
Or does it just see the forest below, and admire it before passing on?

Can you know that I look up to you in joy and love?
