Why are you telling me don't love me when you do?
It's been 16years with you I thought what you had to offer was true
It's funny because I thought my life was set with you
I promised myself I would do everything I had to.
Evey moment we spend together meant the world to me.
Its sad ow after so long you left me and now its hard for me to see
What was I doing wrong? to make you wanna leave my side
I tryed my best to never wanna make you cry.
I come to realize that love is blind.
You cant control of whats told to mind.
To this day i still think about the love I lost
The stupid little thing I did and now I'm paying the cost
Nothing was ever worth making you feel like s^*!
Cause now I find myself alone cant stop thinking of it.
You play with my head saying you are confused
When in reality you know what to do
Ill be waiting for the day you'll come back to me
Then i wake up realizing its over, me and you will never be.
I wrote this poem for my mom like coming from my dad they split up in 2003 it was verry hard for him to get over it after 16 years. pls rate
