What Could Have Been the Best Story Ever.

by Not Bulletproof   Oct 26, 2006

"But the truth is,
that I've never fallen so hard."

Blur.
That's how I see when I'm with you;
I try to focus, but nothing else gets through,
and inside me, a million emotions stir,
and for once, my heart and mind concur.

You are something I must look into;
a book that has long deserved a view,
and well, now I'm here, this is for sure;
you are something I want to procure.

I have not been this happy for so long,
it makes me feel like I've been living wrong,
but I know that now that I have you,
together, we can start our lives anew.

A new story book we can start together,
laminated, so that it will never sever;
we'll add photographs, and memories,
and we'll fill it with lots of inside stories.

I know that I will never be quite perfect,
but I hope my feelings you won't evict,
and I swear that I'll never give up on you,
if you promise me the same thing, too.

I hate to say forever, so at least for a long time,
I hope for all of then, that you will be mine.
Through thick and thin, we could be as one,
from cold winter nights, to summer's hot sun.

So let's start this chapter; time for page one,
and just maybe this book will never be done.
Well, it's good to smile again; to be truly happy,
Angel, I'm glad that now it'll be...you, and me.
