Everyday is Halloween

by steffff   Oct 28, 2006

Masks and scary faces, hiding in dark places
Dressed in death, it drapes their skin
Walking house to house for treats
Deceiving people as they walk the streets

Tricking them, as they do everyday
With their masks, and fake displays
Tonight is no different day
But with different lies and scripts to say

Cunningly pure to those who are blind
They cannot fool me, because I know what they hide
Afraid to show their real displays
Afraid that we’ll have something bad to say

So take off you’re mask and show us your true form
The real one, in which you were born
Tired of trickery, but every days the same
We slip on our masks, because everyday is Halloween
