You look at me with an ignorant eye
Ignoring me, as if I were less than a fly
You look at my clothes, and try to judge me
Is it because, I'm not perfectly who I should be?

There's nothing wrong with me
Is it because I'm not like you?
Or is it because I just like
To do the things I do?

You try to put me down, by giving me a frown
You make me feel self conscious,
Frequently looking at my reflection,
Now all I can see is imperfection

Hanging out with the pretty 'in' crowd
You don't like to talk to me because you're too proud
Putting down my self esteem,
By saying things that are hurtful and mean

I try so hard, with all my work
But you can't see, because you're just a jerk
Feeling dead like part of the walls
This invisibility is making me feel so small.

I am just an outcast,
Hunting for the light
But for now,
This poetry is my only delight
