I've tried to give my heart
But it seems it just gets crushed
People expect so much from me
When I really don't ask for much

And what hurts the most is knowing
That I really have so much to share
But when I try to offer it
It seems nobody cares

So my treasure is kept hidden
And locked away within my soul
To protect it from being broken
Becomes my one and only goal
