When We Met

My sweetest friend, for that is you
I remember that day when I met you.

We were so shy and terribly scared
As we showed up for Tafe, all ready and prepared.

Those first days when you gave me a smile
You made me realise, that things are worthwhile.

As we began to talk, we learnt new things
Like the warmth and friendship that you bring.

If it wasn't for you, I dunno where Id be
For everything you've done means so much to me.

I love you dearly my special friend
I will always stick by you, until the very end.
