Thinking of your Face

by The Undoing   Nov 2, 2006

I just miss it all, the feeling, the touch,
It seems like so long ago.
I try not to think about it much,
It is just so hard, and you will never know.

It happened so fast; you were gone so quick,
I never had my chance for good-byes.
With these words my blood goes thick,
As the tears stream from my eyes.

We have laughed and we have cried,
We could see, the others heart.
With each other, we could confide,
I never thought we would be apart.

Days are long and the night is cold,
Everyday in this place.
They move so slowly, I grow so old,
Just thinking of your face.

Without you is so hard, we were the best,
We stacked so high compared to the rest.
And you meant everything to me,
But The Lord, He set you free.
Comeback, please do,
I just can not live without you.

Havent seen my friends in a while,
You were all I could count on.
Your memory is here, as I walk another mile,
Away I walk, trying to find where you have gone.

It happened so fast; you were gone so quick,
I never had my chance for good-byes.
With these words my blood goes thick,
As the tears stream from my eyes.

Days are long and the night is cold,
Everyday in this place.
They move so slowly, I grow so old,
Just thinking of your face
