Lost fire..

I feel as if i lost the emotion
the emotion of love

for once it was burning so brightly
but was put out ever so fast

slowly it was kindled back to a flame
a flame in which ignited my soul
a feeling so great
yet was dampened so suddenly

and now i have a broken flame
watered down by the years and the pain
never to be lit again

but would you
with your eyes burning so brightly
dry up my broken heart
and set the fire deep inside
