The Colours Of My World

Red,
Like the liquid that comes out of my wrist.
Pink,
Like the sweetness that takes a painful twist
Yellow,
Like the sun I fear inside my head.
White,
Like the light I see on this hospital bed.
And black,
Like the darkness that is my life.
